Miss Monae has been dubbed the "female Andre 3000". I thought that honor would go to Erykah Badu, but Janelle seems more fitting for for the title. Girlfriend rocks the robot chic/rockabilly look like no other. I bow down.
Kid Sister is just fly in general. Her brother is one half of Flosstradamus (a fantastic DJ Duo I had the privilege to see once). She pumps out the club bangers with her producer/boyfriend A-Trak. He is also brothers with the guitar player from Chromeo (another great band I got a chance to see! check 'em)
