Mix-Great Monday: Marble$ edition.

It's still Sunday, but Dead Week is upon us and my finals need my full attention right now. But at least I am fulfilling my Mix-Great Monday promise! Don't complain and enjoy.

1. SONG THAT SPEAKS TO MY SOUL:

This entire album is helping out during my current situation. She's like a Swedish Imogen Heap. There are few artists that get to me with their lyrics, but Lykke Li does a good job of getting into my heart without any robot noises in her songs ( I can get my hipster on too, $cruz). Her music is like therapy without the $100 per hour bill that comes at the end.

2. THE THROWBACK:

I can tell you EXACTLY where I was when Selena died. I was in my living room when Tom Brokaw broke the news. I was a confused 9 year old with a broken heart. Dreaming of you is the Brown girl's slow jam/anthem. When that song comes on the radio, you MUST sing it with all that you've got and with a hairbrush as a mic. And that is exactly what me and Scruz did the other night (without the fake mic). We keep it really real.

I plead the fifth... Shut up and enjoy it.
