You Don't Know My Life!

I've expressed my love for stuffwhitepeoplelike.wordpress.com, if you haven't checked it out, please do so! You'll have a good laugh, I promise.

Unfortunately, while doing some research for my project, I ran into other copycat blogs with titles like, Stuff Educated Latinos Like, and Stuff Latin People Like (I know, they used the word, "latin", I cringed). I'm saddened to inform you that these blogs are pieces of shit that need to be deleted right away.

First off, Stuff White People Like was a success because it was written by a White person--someone within the dominant group in our culture. No matter how much you stereotype White people, it just comes off as funny because they are the ones in the dominant group. The balance of power is not equal. It's a fact of life that I'm all for changing, but I don't hate.

With that being said, you CANNOT stereotype Brown people. You JUST CANT. Why are these people ruining shit?! The "educated" Latinos blog was a big joke and they should know better!
