Mix-Great, a day late

I have to apologize for not doing Mix-Greats and Hater Thursdays on the appropriate days. It's been one weird month, and I'm very discombobulated. I meant to do my Mix-Great last night, but I fell asleep at 8pm like a grandma. I have a cold, yet again, so I'm feeling a little run down.

Alright, now that I've put up this disclaimer I will continue with my tune-age...

1. Song That Speaks To My Soul
"Breathe Me"-Sia

As you know, Arctic Blast '08 kept us inside for about 2 weeks (BTW it's over! Now we just have typical NW rain). Anyway, as I was practically living at my sister I indulged in her TV/cable. I found a channel that played reruns of the best show over...in HD! The show I'm talking about...Six Feet Under. They played a bunch of episodes in a row, and then they played the finale. The last 10 minutes, or so, of the finale are soooooo goooooood. I cry every time! And of course when I watched it the other day, I cried again! The emotion is triggered by the editing and song...which is, you guessed it: Breathe Me. This song is so beautiful, I can listen to it over and over again.

2. The Throwback
"Squeezing Mussels (From The Shell)"-Squeeze

This song is so catchy! I put it on my Ipod as I'm walking and I think I have a bounce to my step, which is both a blast and embarrassing. This song reminds me of the summer time, every summer I usually put this song on heavy rotation. I discovered this song during a summer so it takes me back to that time.

3. Guilty Pleasure
"By My Side"-Jadakiss ft. Ne-Yo

Catchy song alert! I miss driving my car (yes I miss the Ford Escort) because I miss hearing crap like this. Just enjoy...
