Mix-Great Monday: Keepin it $cruz

Here we go, one more time, everybody's feelin fine...here we go now:

1. Song That Speaks To My Soul
"I Love You"-Sarah McLachlan

Since we are on a Roswell theme, I have to throw this song in the MIX. It's not so much of a throwback because this song has and always will speak to my soul. This song played on an episode of Roswell (that Maribel and I recently watched--she totally thought I was going to cry, she was wrong). I used to listen to this song all the time on my portable CD player. The song in general is beautiful and almost haunting, and on Roswell it was just super A-M-A-Z-I-N-G.

*I could only find the live version on imeem, therefore I had to get the original version on youtube

2. The Throwback
"I Can't Go For That (No Can Do)"-Hall & Oates

How can their music not bring a person joy? It's just so smooth...and that guy's voice...so pretty. I think this song speaks for itself, it's a head bobber...

3. The Guilty Pleasure
"What Is It"-Baby Bash ft. Sean Kingston

Arctic Blast '08 has gotten the best of us. I spent the day at Maribel's casa the other day, and we indulged in some OnDemand music videos. This song and video are such a guilty pleasure. Baby Bash doesn't look so much like a homeless like he did in the SUGA SUGA video (another guilty pleasure for sure, shout out to High School Cruising CD mix).
