New Goodies!

I bought this jacket on a trip to Target with Stefanie. That's right, I said Target. Stefanie insisted that Target had it going on in the coat/jacket department so I had to see for myself. It turns out that it was a secret treasure chest full of amazing stuff! After scouring the racks and with Stefanie's approval, I bought myself this Amelia Earhart meets 70's chic number. It looks like I slaughtered two rabbits and the faux fur feels amazing!

I am stuck here in Eugene, Oregon for the Holidays and so I decided to make the most of my situation by heading to the local mall. Armed with Christmas Cash my dad gave me, I decided to splurge a little on gifts for loved ones and gifts for the person I love the most...myself. Above are some earrings I bought in the sale bin (aka the reject bin full of knick-knacks nobody wants and never sold). Whatever, these earrings remind me of golden spoons and they are ENORMOUS. You know how we at IHST love gigantic earrings. You can even see my reflection as I'm taking a picture with my iPhone!
Above is a picture of a shirt I bought at Charlotte Russe. I haven't been there since my sophmore year of high school! For real! My cousin is a devout fan and insisted I give it a try. Since the organization both me and Stefanie are a part of are boycotting Forever 21 (more on that later), I've had to find other stores and options for cheap stuff. This recession is hitting everyone hard and I can't shop at Forever 21 for inexpensive finds! In the words of Tim Gunn, this has definitely been the ultimate test of, "making it work". Indeed we have.
