Spoiled Photos!

If you have a case of sad face, this website will bring you to grin/chuckle status. I love people ruining photos so much, and apparently other people love it as well because they created a website about it. Spoiled Photos has such treasures. Also, there are great captions that go along with a lot of these photos. If you have time to spare of just waste, take a look at the awesome contributions people have submitted.

Here are some of my favorites ♥

Reina Latifah & Common Rom-Com!?!

Marb$, we are seeing this movie. We are going to illegally put in all the best mini-mart food in our bags, and feast on treats for the tummy and ojos.

Queen Latifah and Common in a romantic comedy? Yes, I'll eat that up like candy! Plus, Common plays a basketball player...I just fainted...

This movie looks like cheese on top of cheese, but I'm going with this. Plus, Paula Patton is in this (a Robin Thicke cameo? Probably not but a girl can wish). Also, Pam Grier?!? She's cool.

Check out the trailer and lets all go see this. Lets just believe Queen Latifah likes boys alright? She just has to channel her inner Khadijah again.

Marb$ Seeks a Healthy Glow!

Everytime I go into Sephora, I try to test out products that would give my face a nice dewy look, bronze tint, or rosy glow. When you live in Portland (or the surrounding suburban areas *ahem*), you get a grotesque pasty look to your skin. Everyone just seems to look ill and sick thanks to the lack of sunlight in the Northwest.

Here are some of my favorite products that I wish I could buy:

This product by NARS is called The Multiple Orgasm. Yeah, I know the name is trying so hard to be controversial, but it leaves a nice peachy-pink tint to your face. It's supposed to simulate the same color you would have on your face after having some fun in your bed....with Don Draper. I'm just sayin'....

Ultimately I fell in love with this rosy-pink Benetint product by Benefit Cosmetics. It goes on really sheer and gives you a nice healthy glow.

I recently bought an illuminating powder from the Sephora Collection called "Dore". It's a nice gold-shimmer, but if I'm not careful, I could end up looking like a Jersey Shore idiot. While wearing this, I was followed around Sephora by old ladies that worked there. Me and $Cruz were being discriminated for sure. Also, when my makeup was super fresh in the morning, I was asked "habla ingles?" So if you want to be followed around in stores, make people assume you don't speak English, or just look ethnic in general, cop this product!

Nails of the week!

I took this idea from a youtube tutorial, I wasn't sure if I could pull it off, but I did alright. I love the color combo of this look. Thanks to La Marb$ for suggesting I do this nail look.

*Forgive the picture quality. It's my blackberry camera. Also, ya I'm at work taking pictures of my hands...

Also, you can see that I got my gold bow ring! It totally broke right after I opened it from the mail, but super glue fixes lives.

Don Draper does SNL

Okay, so Jon Hamm (a.k.a. Don Draper from Mad Men/Marb$ not-so-secret-TV-crush) hosted SNL a couple of weeks ago, sue me. I meant to share this with you all, but life got in the way! Who thought of meshing the Don Draper character into the Def Comedy Jam  and a fake Saved by the Bell show? It's absolute genius. I nearly rolled off the couch watching it. For reals, he's so versatile! This make's him even cooler! Watch below:

Sixties Make-up and Hair

I'm so obsessed with sixties make-up and hair. From Priscilla Presley eye-make up to Brigitte Bardot hair, I love it all. Next time I go out, mark my words, I will try this full look. Hair, fake eyelashes, and erry'thang. My most recent purchase was a pair of eyelashes that look like tarantulas! Here are some of my visual inspirations:

The Buried Life

I kept seeing commercials for this show during my Teen Mom/Jersey Shore watching time, I thought it was basically Jackass #2. Eff, I was totally wrong. The Buried Life made me cry! Yes, me...the girl who speaks with no emotion had tears roll down the side of her face into her ear. The concept of The Buried Life is very interesting. It's four dudes that venture off in a purple bus to cross things of their list of things they want to do before they die. They also help individuals achieve one thing before they die. This is what got me! They do such incredible things for other people. For instance, they helped a young girl travel to Denver to see her mom's grave for the first time. OMG, I cried like a niña. This show has way more heart than I originally thought. The guys are really funny, pretty silly in fact, but it's nice to see their great friendship, they also have actual souls and really care about humanity.

Fun episode? The one where they compete in a krump competition. I was so nervous for them, a bunch of white boys from Canada krumping? I was so in cringe mode, but they actually held their own and were pretty good.

This show was recommended to me by Elders, so I went on a Comcast On Demand quest and watched the 4 first episodes in a row. A+!
